Keeseville illustrator/musician George “Speedy” Arnold has teamed up with long-time friend and former local schoolmate Maureen Akey, to produce “The Adventures of Molly the Monarch Butterfly and Friends”
The book is targeted for beginner readers and relates the transformation of a butterfly from egg to chrysalis to butterfly through colorful and wistful illustrations.

I'm thrilled for my multi-talented pal Speedy! I was at the post office the day he came in with the package of his artwork to mail off for publication! I'm proud to own many of his drawings that I purchased over the years at Arnold's Grocery or received as gifts. My favorite is a piece I commissioned him to do for David's Christmas present. I brought him photos of our house and he created a wonderful drawing titled The House that David Built.
